Many things keep me enthused and engaged at Four Seasons. We have an awesome group of employees that are the best at what they do. No day is boring at Four Seasons. There is always a change in the market or new item to promote. Most importantly, we have fun while we work!

Customers should want to do business with us because we put tremendous effort into customer focus. We are constantly trying to exceed customer expectations, provide quality products at fair prices and deliver great customer service. It’s what makes us the best in the business.
Working in retail for years, I understand the challenges and opportunities that many face on a regular basis at store level. Having the ability to share that experience is very rewarding. Changing markets and product seasonality requires constant attention from everyone on our team.

XI have a Marketing/Management degree from the University of Pittsburgh and was a Pole Vaulter on the high school track team. More recently, I coached pole vaulters at our rival high school. I’m a father of 2 boys and I’ve been working at FSPI basically my entire life; I started in high school, continued through college and became full time after graduation.
What I love about my job?
I love that everyday is different, there is never a routine day. I also love working with a large talented group of fun people.

As a steward for the promotion of organic produce in the Northeast my position is very rewarding. It is very gratifying to know that I am connecting organic farmers all over the world with health conscious consumers who have made a decision to eat pesticide free. I worked in the retail stores “slinging” produce for over 20 years. It’s extremely hard work with long hours and it start over every single day. Four Seasons provides that much needed “assistant” in your department.
Four Seasons is the assistant that daily helps to maximize growth and alleviate extra leg work, helping you to offer your customers the very best produce day in and day out! We do everything from communicating with growers, verifying quality in the warehouse, updating produce managers on the market and deals, and building eye catching displays by the front door.
XAfter selling Organic produce for 20 years, I have come to the realization that as much as I care about the integrity of how the food is grown, I care equally as much about the integrity in which I sell it. Four Seasons shares this approach to Organics to the benefit of our customers.

One of the things that keeps me engaged on a daily basis is the great team that I get to work with. The constant interaction and transparency from the top to the bottom of Four Seasons makes you feel empowered to make decisions and give the customers the highest level of service possible.

One of the reasons why a customer should do business with us, as well as continue to do business with us is the wide variety of products we have to offer including meat and dairy options, quality products they can feel confident in, and peace of mind that we are here when they need us. The ability to reach us through a phone call, text, email, and even Facebook sets our customers up for success!

The ability to help Produce Managers get the most out of their department. Not just by taking their order, but by suggesting items that were successful for me in the past at store level and seeing those suggestions have a positive impact on their department.
I think customers should do business with us because we really care about the success of their company and we provide them with the services to help them be successful. I think current customers continue to do business because of the support that we offer them above and beyond just being their produce supplier. Things like our Market News, Meat and Dairy Monthly, and our Merchandising team really help to set Four Seasons apart.

I never know what will happen day-to-day in the world of produce. I also enjoy talking to customers everyday who are passionate and excited about fresh produce.

My passion has always been produce. Even at an early age, one of my favorite things to do was to help my father in the garden. I can’t think of a better way to earn a living than to have a career doing something you love. Four Seasons has given me the opportunity to share my passion and enthusiasm for produce to our customers.

I think the two biggest aspects of Four Seasons I enjoy is the teamwork and constant learning that takes place daily. The produce business reminds me of the stock market in the way the markets are always changing, which keeps everyone focused and anticipating the next move. Also, dealing with fresh produce forces me to think ahead and plan well to deliver a good customer experience. Lastly, I feel like I am truly helping people when I come to work in the morning by delivering healthy food to their store shelf.

We do business the right way. Every day I am more and more impressed with the level of integrity, emphasis on customer relationships, and leadership that Four Seasons demands from its associates. We are constantly learning and being guided by our peers and managers to deliver the best customer service possible. I believe our current customers continue to do business with us because of what happens after the sale. They know that our individual teams take great pride in offering the best deals, quality, and delivery once their order is entered. On top of that, we have first class merchandisers at the store level to deliver assistance and guidance where needed. We take customer satisfaction to a whole new level!

My experience here has shown me that we are not just looking to grow; we want to help our customers grow.

We are a mid-size company – we are not too big. We care about all of our customers, even the little guys, yet we are big enough to get our customers what they want or need.
What I love about my job?
I have always enjoyed interacting with people and this job allows me to make great customer connections and sell a healthy product that I believe in – who doesn’t love fruit and veggies!? Working with produce also provides an ever changing environment so there is never a dull moment!
What is something people don’t know about you?
Most people don’t know that I originally went to school to study film/radio. I stumbled into the “Produce World” by chance over five year ago, with no background in the business, and I’ve never looked back!

I like that things change everyday [kind of like the stock Market]. Its fun to work hard putting together a deal and having it pay off. Everyday starts over and presents new challenges and opportunities.

I think we have so many valuable employees that want to do a good job and really care about the customer. I think that there is a real pride that the customers feel when dealing with anyone in our company.

I love the fast paced nature of the fresh produce industry. It is an ever changing business and Four Seasons is consistently at the forefront of it. It is fantastic to be a part of a very large team all working towards the same goal … making our customers happy and successful. Oh, and it doesn’t hurt that we have a lot of fun doing it!

That is an easy one, our customers come first. That is often said but rarely followed through on like Four Seasons does. We work very hard to provide the freshest, best quality produce from the finest growers and shippers in the business. From the time an order is placed with us until it is delivered at our customer’s door we strive to make sure every step along the way is a delightful one. We understand that if our customers are not successful neither are we.

Fresh produce is an ever changing business that presents different opportunities and challenges day in and day out. As a young produce professional I couldn’t ask for a better place to continue my passion for fresh produce every day.
