We not only provide quality and value in our fresh fruits and vegetables, we also offer a wide range of convenience products to enhance sales.  We work directly with our customers to tailor product assortment in their stores, including a full line of organic, ethnic, as well as, private label, family pack, multiple unit and combination pack items to fit the tastes of the local community.  Whether servicing traditional supermarkets, restaurants or schools needing competitive pricing and good quality, or high-end customers requiring the most premium product, we work together to customize comprehensive programs. Individualized treatment assures our customers the best solutions for the most profitable and growth-oriented result.

Sales Support
Our Four Seasons Produce service-driven sales associates are out-of-the box, think-on-their-feet kind of people. With their positive "can do" attitude, they are eager to expedite orders with efficiency and accuracy. They offer:

  • Customized price list reflecting your house market list and specifications
  • Conventional & Organic Market Reports Customized purchasing plans
  • Monthly usage reports to track an accurate record of costs and consumption
  • "Hot Shot" service for the unforeseen emergencies, such as last minute functions, increased banquet counts or just increased business.
  • Our own industry-experienced corporate chef and support team to help with staff training, recipe development and promotional needs.

Merchandising Support
Our highly trained team of professionals has experience as produce managers and merchandisers themselves. They know your business inside and out to help you design a produce department that will attract and inform consumers and maximize your department's sales contribution. The program includes:

Procurement
Four Seasons Produce, Inc. purchases in excess of 98 percent of all products from direct sources. These encompass all of the growing areas within the continental United States, including local Amish and Mennonite farmers around Lancaster County.  Additionally, products are purchased from a number of
countries outside of the U.S., including Australia, Canada, Chile, New Zealand, South America, Israel, Holland, Mexico, Spain, the Bahamas, Peru and Dominican Republic.

In support of our customer relationships, Four Seasons works hard to develop strong supplier partnerships that allow us to offer the most recognizable industry brands at the best price. Our buyers negotiate contract pricing on high velocity commodities that can fix costs for critical periods of time. Our state-of-technology facility allows us to transport product by railcar to minimize freight costs on key commodities.

Transportation and Timely Delivery
Four Seasons' transportation meets or exceeds all US Department of Transportation requirements.  We own and maintain our own fleet of 90 refrigerated delivery trucks consisting of sprinter vans, straight trucks, and tractor trailers, with an additional 14 independent contactors to make deliveries to our current service area. 

Our fleet communication includes the latest in Qualcomm satellite technology and Descartes Roadshow transportation routing information technology system, enabling us to consistently and accurately track our trucks and customers' orders and to maximize the trailer cube usage.  These systems allow us to achieve high service levels through communication with our drivers effectively and in real time and to meet our customers' product and delivery specifications. As a result, we can commit with confidence to delivery windows, as well as ensure a safe and expedient delivery with adequate rest periods for our drivers.
